Description
Oversees construction and maintenance of city roads, sidewalks and storm drains

Roads and Transportation
  • Maintains and repairs local roads, curbs, sidewalks and ditches
  • Responsible for snow removal, sanding and salting roadways and sidewalks
  • Carries out road grading on a regular rotational basis
  • Responsible for street lighting and traffic signals
  • Repairs and maintains storm sewers
  • Carries out grass cutting, weed control and tree trimming on city property
  • Encourages residents to report potholes
