- Description
- Responsible for processing Non-Insured Health Benefits service claims and coordinating medical transportation for community members
- Submits medical appointment travel, mileage, meal and accommodation requests on behalf of individual
- Assists with making travel arrangements
- Maintains client documentation, receipts and related information
- Provides transportation to medical appointments within the community and medical appointments out-of-town in Espanola, Sudbury and other centres
- Eligibility
- Members of M'Chigeeng First Nation who require assistance with Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) arrangements and forms, and assistance with medical transportation due to age or disability
- Application Process
- Must make arrangements for out-of-town travel at least 2 weeks prior to date of appointment/travel
- Must have Confirmation of Appointment (COA) stamped/signed and return to Health Centre after appointment
