- Provides an elementary on-reserve school for community students
- Offers a full curriculum for students from JK to Grade 8; approved and inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education
- Provides a full-time Physical Education program and Literacy Resource program
- Offers the Anishinabemowin Revival Plan (ARP), an initiative that incorporates daily cultural and Native language into the JK/SK curriculum
- Provides a snack program for all students consisting of milk, yogurt and fruit
- Offers a school gymnasium, cafeteria, library, and computer room
- Participates in Island Soccer tournaments
- Provides bus transportation for all students attending the school
- Provides special education assistance for students with learning difficulties
- Develops an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for each student with annual reviews
- Strives for maximum amount of integration with regular programs
