Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the First Nation
  • Community is not road accessible and does not have stores, post office, air service or other customer services; residents must travel by water (ice in winter) to Angle Inlet, USA for all shopping needs (approx 10 min by boat), or to Kenora by water/land (approx 2.5 hours in summer and 1 hour in winter by ice road)
  • Receives air ambulance services for emergencies

Provides the following programs and services for all members through Northwest Angle 33B (Angle Inlet):
  • Administration (Main Band Office)
  • Child and Family Services (Anishinaabe Abinoojii)
  • Education Department
  • Education Department, Kiizhik School Satellite Campus
  • Health Services, Aboriginal Diabetes Initiative (ADI)
