Technical and professional advisory services and training to enhance the overall management skills and opportunities of the five member First Nations in their quest to become self-sufficient

  • Aims to benefit and protect the interests of its membership
  • Provides services that respect and reflect the Anishinaabe cultural beliefs, traditions and practices

  • Anishinaabeg of Kabapikotawangag Resource Council (AKRC) is a member of the Political Territorial Organization Grand Council Treaty #3 (GCT3)
  • AKRC serves a collective on-reserve population of approx 1,644 individuals
  • Serves five communities, all located within 100 km S and SW of Kenora
  • Northern Sub-Office: located at Wauzhushk Onigum First Nation, ph: 807-548-5642, fax: 807-548-4638
  • Onigaming satellite office located in the Ojibways of Onigaming Band Office
  • Kabapikotawangag means the lake of the sand dunes and sand bars

Mon-Thu 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Fri 8:30 am-3 pm

Must belong to one of the member First Nations in the Kabapikotawangag (AKRC) region
