Acquired Brain Injury Services

Specialized case managers and rehabilitation professionals work directly with family members, friends, other service providers and clients living with the effects of an acquired brain injury to improve:
  • Daily living skills
  • Communication
  • Community orientation and integration
  • Emotional support
  • Recreational opportunities

Services offered include:
  • Outreach Rehabilitation Services
  • Housing Programs
  • Community Support Groups

Mon-Fri 9 am-4:30 pmDates: Jul-Aug: non-operational
  • Individuals living with the effects of an acquired brain injury
  • Must have a documented acquired brain injury for admission to housing services
  • Must have a valid Ontario health card
  • May not be in receipt of insurance funds

Age Requirements: Ages: 16 year(s) and up;

Residency Requirements: Surrounding communities within the districts of Algoma, Cochrane, Manitoulin, Nipissing, Parry Sound and Sudbury

Referrals by family, health professional, physician, lawyer, or self-referral
None - government funded services ; If ineligible for government funded services, fee-for-service is available
