Description
Operates a public on-reserve school for elementary and secondary students
  • Offers a full curriculum for students from Junior Kindergarten (JK) to Grade 12; approved and inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education
  • Teaches Native language as a subject course
  • Teaches computer classes
  • Provides a library which is open to the public
  • Provides a daily hot lunch to students
  • Provides supervised extra-curricular activities
  • Maintains playgrounds, baseball field, soccer field and outdoor skating rink
  • Allows the school gymnasium to be used for various community events

Special Education Program
  • Provides Individual Education Plans (IEP) for students from JK to Grade 12 with learning difficulties
  • Participates in the First Nation Student Success Program (FNSSP) with a focus on improving literacy, numeracy and student retention

  • Parents/guardians must accompany child to school for initial registration meeting with principal
  • Parents/guardians of JK students must present status card and birth certificate of child
  • If transferring from other school, must present status card, birth certificate and last report card from previous school
