Offers bursaries for post-secondary education for childhood cancer survivors, their siblings, and siblings of children who have succumbed to cancer

Interested individual must apply by August 31 of each year. The value of the bursary is $1000.00.
Hours of Operation
Mon-Fri 10 am-3 pm
Eligibility
Applicant must:
  • Be a Canadian citizen
  • Be a survivor of childhood cancer or the sibling of a child diagnosed with childhood cancer
  • Be a permanent resident of pan-northern Ontario during treatment period
  • Be enrolled in an accredited full-time post-secondary program
Application Process
Applicants are required to submit the following:
  • A Letter sharing the applicant's story telling how childhood cancer has affected his/her life;
  • A completed Application Form, including the signed "Applicant's Consent to Release Information";
  • Proof of registration at a post-secondary institution (letter from Registrar)
  • Proof of diagnosis
