Adult Essential Skills Programs

Offers programs and services to assist individuals to develop the essential skills to achieve greater employability through further education
  • Provides literacy, numeracy and essential skills services including computer instruction
  • Offers support in clarifying and upgrading goals
  • Develops training plan to achieve goals
  • Provides academic upgrading services to help individuals develop the necessary skills for entry into college based post secondary education and training programs (such as apprenticeship)
  • Offers General Educational Development (GED) preparation
  • Assists with transportation and child care funding if required
Also coordinates Children's Programs including:
  • Tutoring Services
  • Homework Club
  • Individuals requiring upgrading of skills
  • Individuals who are out of school
  • Special emphasis on individuals receiving social assistance through Ontario Works

Program - Books, materials, and supplies for small group courses; Some fees may apply for specific courses

Not Accessible - No elevator to 2nd Floor -- if unable to climb stairs, call office and arrangements will be made to provide services at a fully accessible location
