Description
Offers community based, holistic and culturally relevant education, programs and services to improve the health of prenatal and postnatal Indigenous mothers, their infants and families including the following:
  • Advocacy and support
  • Breastfeeding education and support
  • Group sessions and individual counselling
  • Home and hospital visits
  • Infant development
  • Infant formula and baby food in an emergency situation
  • Nutrition programs such as shopping on a budget
  • Parenting Programs
  • Prenatal and postnatal education
  • Recreation programs
Eligibility
Urban Indigenous women who are pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant and their infants up to 6 months of age
