Operates a public on-reserve school for elementary and secondary students
  • Offers a full curriculum for students from JK to Grade 12, approved and inspected by the Ontario Ministry of Education
  • Teaches Native language as a subject course
  • Participates in the Provincial Secondary School Literacy Testing (OSSLT) for students in Grade 10
  • Coordinates a school breakfast program in which all students get a healthy breakfast at school and an afternoon snack
  • Provides supervised extra-curricular activities
  • Includes multi-purpose areas, a library/resource centre, a gymnasium and full kitchen
  • Maintains playgrounds, baseball field and soccer field
  • Allows the school gymnasium and kitchen to be used for various community events

NOTE: School complex serves as community evacuation centre when spring floods occur

Special Education
  • Provides special education assistance for students with learning difficulties
  • Develops an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for each student with annual reviews
  • Strives for maximum amount of integration with regular programs
